FAQ

How many days do you need for Pattaya’s attractions?

For the main places, 3–4 days are enough: one day for temples and viewpoints, one day for Ko Lan, one day for gardens and water parks, and one day for shopping and markets. To cover all the places, plan at least 7 days.

How do you get to Ko Lan from Pattaya?

The ferry departs from Bali Hai Pier, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. A speedboat takes about 15 minutes but costs more. The ferry is the best option for budget travelers.

Which show should you choose — Alcazar or Tiffany’s?

Both are located on Second Road and are similar in format. Alcazar is often chosen for its energy, music, and slightly lower price; Tiffany’s is chosen for its elegance, history, and Broadway-style scale. If you only have time for one, choose the one that feels closer to your taste.

Which beach in Pattaya is the cleanest?

The beaches of Ko Lan — Tien, Tawaen, and Samae — are considered the cleanest in the area. On the mainland, Jomtien is cleaner and quieter than the central city beach.

What should you visit with children?

Good options include Underwater World, the dolphinarium, Art in Paradise, Ripley’s, Mini Siam, Frost Magical Ice of Siam, Ramayana Water Park, Columbia Aquaverse, and Nong Nooch Tropical Garden with its elephant show.

Where is the best place to shop in Pattaya?

Terminal 21 is best for atmosphere and the food court; Central Festival is best for brand selection; Thepprasit Market (on weekends) and Pattaya Night Bazaar are best for low prices on clothing and souvenirs.
